Libby, our Alberta girl, is pictured above winning Best of Opposite Sex at WRESSAA's 1999 Specialty. Libby is a 19" black & white girl whom some have said looks "like a mixed-up puzzle". She loves to show & do agility. She has also been an excellent mother -- she has whelped two litters of puppies (7 puppies in each litter) -- the first in June of 1997 & the second & last in December of 2000. She is pictured below winning High in Class at the SCVESSA Specialty held in conjunction with the ESSFTA National in July 1995.
Libby has so much personality that she's hard to describe. She is smart, sweet, loving & fun. Her contribution to our breeding program has been enormous. So far she has produced 7 Canadian Champions, 2 American Champions, 1 High in Trial dog, & titled get in Obedience & Agility. We hope that she continues to entertain us for years to come! (Back)

Libby was specialed by Shannon Scheer in 1999 & became a multi-Best of Breed winning bitch with numerous Best of Opposite wins. The BOS wins include 1 Specialty (WRESSAA) & 2 Booster wins (WRESSAA & English Springer Spaniel Club of Canada, ESSCC). In August of 2000, she was awarded the Best of Opposite Sex Springer of the Year by the English Springer Spaniel Club of Canada (ESSCC). She & her daughter Minnie love to perform in Brace -- they have won Best Braces in Group & 3 Best Braces in Shows (1 all-breed, 1 Group 1 Specialty Show, 1 ESS Specialty). Libby was also a junior handling partner for her friend Caitlin & helped her to qualify for the Alberta Junior Handling Finals. In August of 2004 she was partnered with a number of Junior Handlers at the WRESSAA & ESSCC Specialties.
In Agility -- Libby obtained her Novice Agility Certificate & Novice Jumpers Certificate in NADAC agility with numerous class placements. She obtained her CKC Agility Novice Title (AGN) & her CKC Intermediate Novice Title (AGI) with class placements including firsts. She completed her AKC Novice Agility Title (NA) in straight trials in January of 2002 with first & second class placements & her AKC Novice Jumpers with Weaves title (NAJ) with class placements (including at the 1999 ESSFTA Nationals). She has the first leg on her CKC Excellent Agility Title & two legs on her AKC Open Agility Jumpers Title (OAJ).
In Obedience -- She completed her Canadian CD at 13 months of age in her first 3 trials including a HIC at WRESSAA's Specialty. She completed her American CD with 2 HIC at U.S. Specialties, including her first leg pictured above at the 1995 SCVESSA Specialty. She competed at the ESSFTA 2003 Nationals in St. Louis & placed 2nd in Brace Obedience with her daughter Minnie & qualified in Veteran Obedience. At the 2004 ESSCC Nationals she placed 2nd in Veteran Obedience.
In Scent Hurdling -- Libby has her Scent Hurdling Title (SHD). (Back)
